Order FAQs

Q: Can I custom order a piece from you?

A: You can now order from my unique Mustard Seed collection and my Copper Fantasy collection anytime.  Please allow for my one week lead time before shipping on these orders.  I do not take other custom orders at this time as I simply do not have the time to accommodate such work.  If that changes, I will update that information here.

Q: Can I order by mail or by phone?

A: No, sorry, at this time I only accept orders through this web site.

Q: Didn't you used to be on Etsy?

A: Yes!  The Pickled Posey got its start on Etsy and had nearly 3,500 sales in two years with an average rating of 5 out of 5 stars!  While Etsy was a great place to start, I eventually knew it was time to expand and move on by creating this on-line web site which is powered by Shopify with secure and easy shopping options.

Q: I've just placed an order, how will my item come?

A: Except for the Mustard Seed and Copper Fantasy items which require a week lead time, everything listed on this site is already made and ready to ship within 1 - 3 business days.  We love the art of packaging and your item will come beautifully packaged.  We ship all orders via USPS First Class or Priority mail.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS!  Your country may charge an import tax or duty fee on your item.  You are responsible for paying this fee at the time your package arrives, in order for it to be released.  This is not a shipping fee, as we have already paid that in full.  Instead, this is a tax your country charges you to import the item.  By law we have to declare the product as merchandise at its full value on the customs form.

Q: Where are you located and where do you ship from?

A: I am located in Ohio, U.S.A. and ship from our location here within 3 business days of your order for items already made and a week for items I make to order.

Q: How should I care for my jewelry?

A: All of my resin jewelry is made with high quality artist's resin with UV protectors to ensure your piece will have lasting beauty.  You should not bathe, swim or otherwise immerse your piece in water.  Please avoid using any harsh chemicals on your piece.  My favorite way to polish my resin jewelry is to use a drop of liquid coconut oil and a soft cloth or old t-shirt to gently buff.  Most of the metals used in my designs are from a trusted supplier in the USA, cast and plated in the USA with imported lead-free pewter, brass and precious metals, free of nickel.

Q: How do you make your jewelry, items, etc. and where do you order your supplies?

A: I am asked this often, but since I make our living with this craft, I consider my sources and process to be best kept private as a trade secret.  There are many tutorials on-line from others that will help on your own creative journey.

Q: Your items are always sold out, how can I order?

A: Because of the tedious nature of my work, and the fact that I am a one woman show, I can only make a limited amount of originals at a time.  While my items often sell fast (and I know that can be frustrating and make shopping difficult), I are always releasing more.  The best place to watch for my releases to be announced is in our Facebook Group here:
